It has a rich history and heritage, historic buildings and there has been a market here for over 1000 years. On to the city known throughout the world for the legend of Robin Hood, Nottingham is a thriving place. The castle presides over the city on a rocky cliff and has been called the 'Jewel in Nottingham's crown'. Nottingham is also home to the 800-year-old 'Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem', which is a traditional pub with fine local ales, an underground cave network, an art gallery and the National Justice Museum. The city centre is mainly pedestrianised so is perfect for
sight-seeing and shopping.

With rounded hills, beautiful valleys, gorges, wild moorland and serene lakes, the Peak District is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. It is an area loved for its beautiful views, bustling towns and pretty villages. During this excursion you will spend time in both Buxton and Bakewell - an opportunity to see the Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop.
Day Four
