The Westgrove Hotel, Clane, Kildare

 

Situated in the beautiful village of Clane in County Kildare, this hotel offers every convenience for your stay. The Westgrove Leisure Club has a 20 metre pool, kids pool, steam room, jacuzzi, gym and an exercise studio.(Lift)

 

Day One

Depart from your selected joining point and travel to the Westgrove Hotel, Clane. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

Day Two

Head to the Irish National Stud & Japanese Gardens, the country's horse breeding centre for a guided tour of the paddocks and stables. Enjoy its interactive museum which reveals the secrets of its success, and a stroll around the Japanese Gardens contained within the grounds. Visit the Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre, which houses the complete range of Newbridge Silverware products and some exclusive collections; and visit the Museum of Style Icons housing fashion collections and artefacts which once belonged to those such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana, the Beatles and many more. On to Kildare Village, the perfect luxury shopping destination with more than 100 boutiques from the world's most exciting designers, before spending some time in Kildare Town.

Day Three

Spend some time in the coastal town of Malahide before visiting Dublin, Ireland's capital city, steeped in history and buzzing with energy. Explore some of its many attractions including the cathedral, castle, museums, art galleries and many shops. Perhaps, visit the Guinness Storehouse, home to Ireland's famous stout and enjoy panoramic views of the city with a drink in its rooftop bar.

Day Four

Travel to charming, picturesque and ever-surprising, Athlone, a vibrant and fascinating town with brightly painted houses, ancient pubs and characterful shops, in the heart of Ireland's Midlands at the edge of Lough Ree. Explore Athlone Castle, which stands proud overlooking the town, and which has played a crucial role in the events that have shaped Ireland; and relive the wild passion of the Vikings on an interesting river cruise.

Day Five

After breakfast you leave Clane and travel home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
