Day One
Depart from your selected joining point and travel to the Leonardo Hotel, Derby. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
Day Two
The Heights of Abraham provides sweeping panoramic views from its dramatic hilltop setting. Reached by a scenic cable car ride, it invites visitors to explore historic caverns, and woodland trails. Continue on to Chatsworth House, a magnificent stately home renowned for its grand architecture, stunning gardens, and world-class art collection.
Day Three
The unspoilt town of Leek is home to a thriving Wednesday market. The indoor market is in the beautifully restored Victorian Butter Market and the outdoor market is held in the cobbled Market Place. Leek itself has well-preserved architecture, historical links and interesting town walks. Then journey into the Peak District National Park to visit the charming market town of Bakewell, nestled along the River Wye. Make sure to visit The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop.
Day Four
The National Memorial Arboretum offers a peaceful place for reflection, honouring those who have served in the armed forces and others who have made a lasting impact on our nation. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing afternoon discovering the vibrant city of Derby.
Day Five
After breakfast you start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
