Oban and the islands of Mull and Iona

Day One

Depart from your selected joining point and travel to Oban for your four nights stay at the Royal Hotel. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

Day Two

Experience sheer beauty as you travel through the dramatic, pre-historic landscapes of Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe, famously referred to as 'The Glen of the Weeping'. Pass Bridge of Orchy and head through these striking landscapes, where views of the iconic Buachaille Etive Mor unfold. A stop will be made at the modern Glencoe Visitor Centre, which is full of information about the dramatic scenery and history of this famous site. Conclude by meandering along the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe and Loch Creran.

Day Three

Relax on the ferry from Oban to Craignure on the enchanting Isle of Mull and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you pass Glen More. From Fionnphort. board as a foot passenger for the short crossing to the tranquil Isle of Iona for approximately two hours. Discover the ancient Abbey and burial place of Scottish King, where Christianity is at the heart of this tiny but historically rich island.

Day Four

A leisurely day in the popular coastal resort of Oban. Boat tours are available from the bustling harbour or perhaps take a stroll along the Esplanade and simply watch the boats come and go. Don't miss this opportunity to visit McCaig's Tower and admire the panoramic views or savour a wee dram at the distillery.

Day Five

After breakfast you leave Oban to start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
