Burn Hall Hotel, Huby, near York
A Victorian manor house, packed full of personality and countryside character. Burn Hall has an outstanding reputation for customer service, you will receive a warm Yorkshire welcome by a friendly team. It also has an excellent menu of homemade Yorkshire dishes, made with locally sourced produce.
Day One
Depart from your selected joining point and travel to Huby, near York and the Burn Hall Hotel for your four nights stay. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
Day Two
The serene dales are full of stunning landscapes and stone-built villages. See the hidden gem of Ripon, Cathedral City of the Yorkshire Dales, Leyburn, which is set in the heart of Wensleydale and also the traditional market town of Thirsk.
Day Three
Spend a day in York. This city is full of history and is well known for its attractions, with more per square mile than any other city in the UK. Some of these include the grand and iconic Minster, art gallery, National Railway Museum, river cruises and the dungeon, as well as many other treasures. Take a stroll around The Shambles, one of the UK's most picturesque streets, with overhanging timber-framed houses and traditional shopfronts. There is also a fantastic range of food and drink, world street food and fine dining, all within historic surroundings.
Day Four
Visit the ancient fishing port of Whitby, famous for Blue Flag beaches. There are pleasant views, a harbour and small craft and antiques shops. On to Scarborough, a popular seaside resort with panoramic views from the castle over the dramatic Yorkshire Coastline.
Day Five
After breakfast you leave Huby to start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
