Set within the Lake District National Park, in acres of picturesque gardens and woodland and with views of Morecambe Bay. The hotel is a short drive from majestic Lake Windermere. Day One
Depart from your selected joining point and travel to Grange-over-Sands for your four nights stay at the Cumbria Grand Hotel. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
Day Two
Take a tranquil cruise on Lake Windermere, with fantastic views across the wooded shoreline and distant Lakeland fells. Visit the bustling town of Bowness-on-Windermere, enjoy a stroll around the lovely town centre, perhaps visit The World of Beatrix Potter or simply take in the scenery by the lake.
Day Three
Spend time in the busy resort of Ambleside, then to Grasmere, known for William Wordsworth connections and the market town of Keswick, set between Skiddaw and Derwentwater. Return via the stunning Kirkstone Pass.
Day Four
Spend the morning in historic Kendal, famed for mint cake, which has indulgent shopping and wonderful views all around. The remainder of the day is free. You may wish to take a walk into the centre of Grange over Sands or enjoy a scenic stroll by the water.
Day Five
After breakfast you leave Grange-over-Sands and travel home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
