Evans Hotel, Llandudno
Conveniently located close to the centre of Llandudno, the promenade and local amenities. A warm welcome, excellent food and service awaits at this popular, family run hotel. The 'E' in Evans stands for Entertainment, which is varied and can be enjoyed in the spacious bar. (lift)
Day One
Depart from your selected joining point and travel to the Evans Hotel, Llandudno for your four nights stay. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
Day Two
Relax and enjoy the beautiful drive through Snowdonia National Park, an amazing landscape with the impressive Snowdonia mountain range, picturesque villages and wooded valleys. Travel down the Vale of Conwy to Betws-y-Coed, set in a beautiful valley and Llanberis, which has a lovely lake side setting at the foot of Snowdon.
Day Three
Take a tranquil Horse Drawn Boat Trip on the beautiful Llangollen Canal, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, perfect whatever the weather. Experience the pace of life in 'the olden days', whilst admiring the strength of those gorgeous horses as they easily pull the boat through the majestic Welsh Mountains. This is followed by a lovely Welsh cream tea before spending some time in Llangollen itself. Perhaps stroll along Dee Lane and Victoria Promenade, watch the river tumble beneath the bridge or find some unusual gifts in the independent shops.
Day Four
Enjoy a free day in this popular, beautiful town, which has all the appeal of the seaside and is famous for its Victorian style and Edwardian elegance. Attractions include the Great Orme Tramway, Victorian pier (the longest in the country) and Llandudno Museum, which tells the story of Llandudno over 340 million years.
Day Five
After breakfast you leave Llandudno and make the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
