The charming market town of Nenagh is the second largest in County Tipperary, a former market town noted for its enchanting 12th century castle, which has a stunning walled garden bursting with lavender. It is also home to the Franciscan abbey, Heritage Centre and the old jail. A great base from which to explore the area.

Abbey Court Hotel and Spa, Nenagh
Situated on the outskirts of Nenagh town. A traditional, family-run hotel, renowned for combining old world charm with first class facilities. Enjoy a great Irish welcome, charming bedrooms offering elegance and comfort and fresh local cuisine. Step inside the state-of-the-art leisure centre equipped with pool, gym, jacuzzi and sauna, a great place to unwind.
Day One
Depart from your selected joining point and travel to Nenagh and the Abbey Court Hotel and Spa for your four nights stay. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
Day Two
A full day excursion to Galway City, one of Ireland's most picturesque cities, which was given the title European Capital of Culture 2020. A popular seaside destination, with long sandy beaches, wonderful cobbled streets and colourful shop facades. It is well known for
artistry and culture.
Day Three
Spend some time in Limerick, Ireland's first ever City of Culture. Experience the unique spirit, vibrancy, history and friendliness and discover its hidden gems. You will be spoilt for choice with medieval marvels and Georgian grandeur. You may like to take the opportunity to visit the rejuvenated waterfront, castle, gallery and traditional pubs.
Day Four
Excursion to the historic town of Roscrea in County Tipperary. Visit the Heritage Centre, Damer House or admire the architecture of the castle. Then continue to Kilkenny, a charming Irish city, known for the pretty 'Medieval Mile', rich history and lovely buildings including The Black Abbey and The Shee Alms House.
Day Five
After breakfast you leave Nenagh to start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
