Cairn Hotel, Harrogate
Set in the stunning spa town of Harrogate and just a short walk from the town centre. This hotel has been carefully modernised, although grand original features still welcome you to the splendour of the charming Victorian building. The informal restaurant and beautifully refurbished lounge, foyer and bar area offer a warm and inviting place to enjoy the entertainment, relax and socialise. (lift)
Day One
Depart from your selected joining point and travel to Harrogate and the Cairn Hotel for your four nights stay. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
Day Two
Visit the picturesque town of Ilkley and the historic town of Otley, which has featured in many TV soaps and dramas. Admission is included to Harewood House and Gardens. As you walk around this stunning stately home, you see many exquisite delights and there are over 100-acres of gardens.
Day Three
The Yorkshire Dales is rich in farming history and noted for its drystone walls, majestic hills and rolling green valleys. Some of the charming places you pass include Ripley, Pateley Bridge, Grassington, Kettlewell, Aysgarth, the delightful town of Hawes, the famous Ribblehead Viaduct, Ingleton and picturesque Settle.
Day Four
A free day to explore Harrogate. Why not indulge in a spa treatment at the baths, where both traditional and modern treatments are available, stroll around the glorious gardens, wander around the exquisite shops or visit the famous Betty's Tearooms?
Day Five
After breakfast you leave Harrogate and travel home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
