Abbey or Central Hotel, Donegal Town


Both the Abbey and Central Hotels are situated in the Diamond, at the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Donegal. The hotels boast a central location and magnificent views over Donegal Bay, making it the perfect choice. Relax and enjoy the comfortable bedrooms, delicious dishes in the restaurant and entertainment. The Central Hotel also boasts a leisure centre which features a swimming pool, gym, steam room, jacuzzi and solarium which guests at both hotels are able to use.

Day One

Depart from your selected joining point and travel to Donegal and the Abbey or Central Hotel for your four nights stay. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

Day Two

An excursion to Sligo and Bundoran. The seaport town of Sligo is known for history and culture and also as the 'shopping capital of the North West', whilst Bundoran is a seaside resort and well known surfing paradise.

Day Three

Visit the attractive, vibrant town of Letterkenny, Donegal's largest town and home of the Donegal Country Museum, grand cathedral and great shopping. Then to the picturesque fishing port of Killybegs, hidden among the mountains and harbours of Donegal's South coast. It has a glorious coastline, traditional pubs and spectacular ocean views.

Day Four

Spend a day discovering picturesque Donegal Town. You may like to join the Donegal Bay Waterbus with live commentary, visit the Donegal Railway Heritage Centre, or stroll around the abundance of shops, cafes and bars.

Day Five

After breakfast you leave Donegal to start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
