Burn Hall Hotel, Huby, near York

 

A Victorian manor house, packed full of personality and countryside character. Burn Hall has an outstanding reputation for customer service, you will receive a warm Yorkshire welcome by a professional and friendly team. It also has an excellent menu of homemade Yorkshire dishes, made with locally sourced produce. (lift)

 

Day One

Depart from your selected joining point and travel to the Burn Hall Hotel, Huby near York. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

Day Two

Harewood House, located in West Yorkshire, is a stunning 18th-century stately home designed by architect Robert Adam. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and rolling countryside, it showcases exquisite interiors filled with art, furniture, and treasures from the Lascelles family. The house is renowned for its impressive collections, including paintings by masters like Turner and Stubbs, as well as a captivating bird garden. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Harewood combines history, architecture, and nature, making it a significant cultural destination.

Day Three

Start the day in York with a relaxing cruise along the River Ouse. Within York's towering medieval walls is a heart of rich and colourful character, with its history recorded in the streets, buildings and museums gathered around the mighty Minster. Discover many of the treasures and architectural gems this remarkable city has to offer; its cobbled streets, the famous Shambles and perhaps the National Railway Museum or JORVIK Viking Centre.

Day Four

Relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of 'Heartbeat Country' with a nostalgic journey on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Then explore the picturesque coastal town of Whitby, renowned for its iconic cliff-top abbey, sandy beaches, charming harbour, and connections to Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Day Five

After breakfast you leave Huby to start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

The deposit required at the time of booking for all holidays is £30 per person, payable on acceptance of the booking and full payment is required 42 days prior to departure (exact date is stated on your confirmation invoice).
