Lindum Hotel, Lytham St Annes
Situated on the seafront, within a short walk of the town centre. This family run hotel has stunning sea views and has recently been refurbished. It offers relaxed dining and entertainment, making it the perfect place to unwind.
Day One
Depart from your selected joining point and travel to Lytham St Annes and the Lindum Hotel for your four nights stay. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
Day Two
After a short break at Oswaldtwistle Mills, take a scenic drive and learn of the 'Pendle Witches'. In the Pendle villages of Roughlee and Barley you will learn the sad tale of Alice Nutter, Elizabeth Southerns (Demdike) and Anne Whittle (Chattow), who were accused, tried and found guilty of witchcraft in 1621, this is one of the most famous trials in English history. Return to Oswaldtwistle Mills, an award-winning shopping village and garden centre, where there will be free time for shopping.
Day Three
This holiday includes a visit to the maritime city of Liverpool where the River Mersey meets the Irish Sea. The city boasts excellent attractions including The Beatles Story, Royal Albert Dock, the Royal Liver Building and the Museum of Liverpool and an excellent centre for shopping.
Day Four
Half day excursion to the seaside town of Blackpool.
Day Five
After breakfast you leave Lytham St Annes to start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
