This is truly a special day out, our afternoon steam train with afternoon tea is sure to have something for everyone; a visit to the spectacular Kelpies, an awe inspiring must for all ages and Afternoon Tea served on a lovingly restored Steam Train.

The Kelpies

The 100ft-tall horse head sculptures called The Kelpies is Scotland's largest public artworks.  It is inspired by the tradition of the heavy, working horses that, in times past, were used to pull barges along the canals and work in the surrounding fields.

Afternoon Tea on a Steam Train

After we depart the Kelpies we head over to Bo'ness & Kinneil railway to take a trip on a steam train and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea of freshly made sandwiches, cake and homemade scones with clotted cream and Scottish jam served with a pot of coffee or tea on board.

We depart Bo'ness station and make our way through the countryside heading for Manuel station, where you will have the chance to stretch your legs while the Steam engine is un-coupled and re-coupled for the journey back to Bo'ness.
